Why Popculture Gourmet Popcorn?

There is no charge to talk with us about general questions you have on opening a popcorn business by email, telephone, or by visiting our stores. Our in-store, hands-on training is conducted in our flagship store located in Parkville, MO! Training requirements and time include 4 days in Parkville and 2 days in your store once you’re ready to open.  However, we are with you through the entire process including after your store opens via phone, email, text and video conference. We will not let you fail.   

We’ll teach your how to maximize your profits, assemble gift tins, and display merchandise. You’ll even learn how to offer your customer’s the most for their money and how to provide a great customer experience. Point of Sale training, website ordering, and wholesale options are available too.

PGP has been owned and operated by Channing & Stephanie Doss since 2017. Channing is a native of Arkansas and Stephanie is a native of Nebraska. Channing holds a bacholors degree from the University of Central Arkansas while Stephanie holds degrees from the University of Nebraksa - Lincoln as well as a law degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. We met in Dallas and relocated back to Kansas City in 2010 after our first child. We have 3 beautiful daughters and nothing is more important to us than our family. We decided to open PGP due to the lack of a true gourmet offering in the Kansas City metro area. Two years later and we haven't looked back on our decision. PGP is everything we ever thought it could be for both our family & community. We know that we can help you create a successful gourmet popcorn shop with our training and consulting...you just have to bring the work ethic.
